Une Nuit Nomade Sugar Leather EDP
Description
Sugar Leather comes from Une Nuit Nomade's Une Nuit à Oman collection, composed by Anne-Sophie Behaghel and released in 2023.
The name is the whole brief: caramelised leather. Sugary cinnamon and caramel open it with an impression close to boozy cognac, plum adds fruit, and patchouli and amyris pull it woody before leather and labdanum close it out. The house frames it as white sand dunes where leather and sun meet, and for once the copy matches the wear.
Scent Character
- Leather & Resinous: 34% (leather, labdanum)
- Sweet: 34% (caramel, tonka bean)
- Spicy: 32% (cinnamon)
Translation: warm cinnamon-caramel over a real leather base. Gourmand at the top, considerably drier underneath than the name suggests.
Fragrance Pyramid
- Top: Cinnamon, Plum
- Heart: Amyris, Tonka Bean, Patchouli
- Base: Leather, Caramel, Labdanum
Performance
Longevity: Above average by most accounts. The leather and labdanum base holds long after the cinnamon has burned off.
Sillage: Moderate. Noticeable without dominating, which is what keeps a cinnamon-caramel wearable.
Best Occasions & Season
Made for fall and winter, and flexible from the office through to an evening. Cinnamon and caramel become heavy in summer heat.

Try Before You Commit
Decants start at $3.99 for 1 mL, with 5 mL and 10 mL also poured. Genuinely worth it here, opinion splits, and a minority read the cinnamon as closer to apple pie than to leather. That is a your-own-nose question.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it more sugar or more leather?
Sugar first, leather second. The opening is sweet and spiced; the leather arrives underneath and takes over as it dries.
Does it contain oud?
No. The depth comes from leather and labdanum. There is no agarwood in this composition.
Why do some reviewers call it apple pie?
The cinnamon sits high and sweet in the opening, and on some skin it reads more bakery than boutique. Most wearers do not get that, but enough do that it is worth sampling.
