Tobacco Oud Intense is the deeper, darker take on Tom Ford's Tobacco Oud: dry tobacco leaf, genuine agarwood and a leathery, animalic warmth. Released in 2017 as part of the Private Blend and since discontinued, it lists coriander, tobacco, labdanum, oud, cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, amber, tonka and castoreum. Reviewers who know both versions describe the Intense as less sweet than the 2013 original but more complex and more rounded, with the castoreum and labdanum giving it a leather undertone. Because it is no longer made, decants are now one of the few practical ways to wear it.
