L'Air des Alpes Suisses is Andy Tauer's 2019 tribute to the Swiss mountains, and, fittingly, it's hand-filled and labeled at his Zürich studio. Alpine herbs, an abstract “air accord” and a mineral granite note open the composition, moving into a powdery, green heart of alpine lily and spicy notes, before settling into a dry base of larch, beech and soil. It's one of Tauer's most overtly nature-inspired releases, less about a classic perfume structure and more about capturing a specific place.
