Description

Rock the Myrrh puts myrrh center stage: resinous, sweet and a little leathery. Dries Van Noten, the Antwerp fashion house, files it under leather and describes myrrh wrapped in precious resins with a hint of leathery animality. Pink pepper and cypress give a bright, dry opening. Myrrh and patchouli form the heart, and suede and benzoin round it off with a soft, balsamic sweetness. The bottle pairs hand-painted ceramic with amber glass. On skin it reads warm and polished rather than churchy.
