Description

Wow is a warm spice-market fragrance: cumin, cinnamon and cardamom over rose and plum, sweetened with vanilla. Profumi di Polignano is a house from the Apulian coastal town of Polignano a Mare, and Arturetto Landi composed Wow for it in 2018, drawing on the spice trade that once passed through the region. Cumin, cinnamon, coriander and cardamom open it, rose, plum, geranium and ylang-ylang soften the heart, and benzoin, tonka, vanilla and musk give it a sweet, ambery base. The cumin is present but kept in check, so it reads as warm and spicy rather than sharp.

Scent Character

Translation: sweet and spicy in close balance, from vanilla, tonka and plum on one side and the spice rack on the other, with rose and ylang making up the floral quarter.
