Parfums De Marly Safanad EDP
Description
Safanad means "the pure," and legend holds that a mare of this name was gifted by the Queen of Sheba to King Solomon, the mythical founding mother of all Arabian horses, said to have been created from the four winds: spirit from the north, strength from the south, speed from the east, and intelligence from the west. Composed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin and launched in 2013, Safanad channels that noble lineage into a velvety white-floral eau de parfum: pear, orange, and petitgrain open bright, giving way to a heart of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, jasmine sambac absolute, and iris, before settling into a warm, comforting base of vanilla, amber, and sandalwood.
