Tonka Rouge is tonka bean dressed in red: dark cherry and raspberry over a warm, boozy vanilla-sandalwood base. Composed by Sébastien Cresp and released in 2025 as part of Maison Tahité's tonka collection (the house is the vanilla-led line created with Officine Creative Profumi), it opens on juicy cherry. The heart pairs almond-like tonka with raspberry and a thread of licorice, and the base brings brandy, vanilla and creamy sandalwood. It sits between gourmand and oriental: fruity and sweet, but the brandy and woods give it a grown-up, slightly resinous finish.

Scent Character

Translation: sweet and woody in equal measure: tonka, vanilla and red fruit on one side, sandalwood on the other. The lighter floral share reflects the bright red-fruit opening; there are no flowers among the listed notes.
