J-Scent W17 Koiame EDP
Description
Koiame means “love rain” in Japanese, and it smells like the air just before a summer shower. Released in 2019 by the Tokyo house J-Scent, it was created by the brand's in-house team rather than a named perfumer. The story runs from anticipation to memory: mandarin and cassis first, then a soft heart of water lily, magnolia, violet, jasmine and rose, and finally a clean musk with cedar and moss, the brand's picture of a rainbow after the rain. It is a transparent fruity floral, light on the skin and quietly pretty.
