Fragrance du Bois Forbidden Plum Oud Extrait (Harrods Exclusive)
Description
Forbidden Plum Oud takes a ripe, almost illicit plum and walks it into the dark: rum, whipped cream and tuberose in the middle, three woods waiting at the bottom. Composed by Dalia Izem and launched in 2026 as a Harrods London exclusive, it is Fragrance du Bois reading its own house signature through fruit rather than through resin. The opening is juicy and spiced, plum cut with bergamot and a flick of clove. The heart turns boozy and lactonic, rum and whipped cream against Indian tuberose, which is where the composition earns the word forbidden. Then it settles: Australian sandalwood, patchouli and genuine oud, warm and resinous, carrying a long trail.
Scent Character
- Fruity: plum is the headline note and stays legible for hours
- Boozy & Creamy: rum and whipped cream give the heart its indulgent weight
- White Floral: Indian tuberose, rich rather than soapy
- Oud & Woods: real agarwood with sandalwood and patchouli underneath
Translation: a fruity amber-woody extrait, dessert-plum and rum on top of a genuine oud base, opulent rather than medicinal.
Note: the structured accord percentages on this listing are under review. They do not match this composition, so we have described the character in words rather than publish figures we cannot stand behind.

Best Occasions & Season

FAQ
Does it actually contain oud? Yes. Unlike many fragrances that borrow the word, this one carries genuine agarwood in the base alongside Australian sandalwood and patchouli.
Is it a gourmand? Partly. The rum and whipped cream heart is frankly edible, but the oud-sandalwood base pulls it back toward amber-woody territory. Call it a dessert with a dark room behind it.
How long does it last? As an extrait, 8–10 hours and frequently longer, with a warm woody trail well into the next morning on fabric.
Why don't you sell the full bottle? Forbidden Plum Oud is exclusive to Harrods in London. We hand-pour decants from a verified original so it can be worn without a trip to Knightsbridge.
