Description

Sand and Skin bottles the exact moment sun-hot sand meets skin, part of Floraiku's Iconics line, composed by perfumer Nadège Le Garlantezec and launched in 2023. It's an outlier for the house: almost entirely woody-ambery, built on ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and Madagascar vanilla rather than the brand's usual fresher, more citrus-led openings. Reception has been mixed. Some find it a warm, beachy signature scent, others read it as leaning powdery-vintage rather than sun-drenched.

FAQ

Is Sand and Skin unisex?
Yes. The woody-vanilla base wears equally on any skin.

How long does it last?
Strong for the house: 7-9 hours with sillage that fills the space around you, thanks to the heavy sandalwood-vanilla base.

Is it sweet or woody?
Woody-forward: vanilla adds warmth but doesn't push it into gourmand territory. Some reviewers find it reads slightly powdery-vintage rather than beachy.

What's the best season for it?
Fall and winter, where its warm, ambery density feels most at home despite the beach-inspired name.
