Fischersund No. 54 EDP
Description
No. 54 is a workshop in a bottle: fresh varnish, pine, leather and a hint of danger. Fischersund, the Reykjavík art collective run by Jónsi of Sigur Rós and his family, made it as a tribute to their father's workshop, a childhood space full of tools, workbenches and slow-drying paint. The house describes a fresh coat of varnish on a wooden shed, uprooted moss and wet soil, burnt tires on hot asphalt, frozen grass and salt licorice. On skin it opens bright with bergamot, grapefruit and a varnish accord, moves into mountain pine and spice, and dries down to leather, cedar and vetiver. It is the most unconventional of the numbered Fischersund scents, and it means to be.

- Woody: 38%
- Fresh: 25%

Translation: a woody core of pine, cedar and vetiver under a bright citrus top. The leather share is the rough, lived-in leather of the base, and there is no oud in it. The small sweet and spicy shares come from salt licorice and the spice in the heart.

FAQ
Does No. 54 contain oud?
No. The dark, rough edge comes from leather, varnish and a smoky accord, not agarwood.
What does No. 54 smell like?
A woodworking shed: varnish and citrus first, then pine and spice, settling into leather, cedar and earthy vetiver.
How does it compare to No. 23?
No. 23 is smokier and more maritime, built on birch tar, pepper and fir. No. 54 is more industrial, with varnish, pine and leather in the lead.
Is it unisex?
Yes. Fischersund fragrances are made to be worn by anyone.
