Poème de Sagano is green tea and citrus in the shade of a bamboo forest. One of the early Ella K fragrances, released in 2018 by Sonia Constant, it was inspired by the Sagano bamboo grove in the northwest of Kyoto, where light filters through the stalks in countless shades of green. Bergamot, yuzu and grapefruit open it, a heart of bamboo, matcha tea and shiso leaf gives it that cool, leafy calm, and patchouli, cedar and musk hold the drydown. It is serene and clean rather than sweet or fruity.

Translation: mostly fresh citrus and green tea on a light cedar base. The small warmer share is the patchouli, not oud.
