Purple Stain is Borntostandout's Extrait Extrême line at full strength, a 2025 release from perfumer Jordi Fernández, formulated at 55-62% concentration and aged three months in traditional Korean onggi pottery before bottling. The concept: wine stains bleeding across an old leather journal, memory and mess in equal measure. Saffron, cinnamon, and nutmeg open warm and spiced, orange blossom and caramel add a rich, indulgent heart, and the base settles into a smoky, resinous blend of oud, patchouli, and cypriol. This is niche perfumery turned up to maximum intensity.
