Xerjoff Irisss Parfum
Description
Irisss is a 2008 release from Xerjoff’s XJ 17/17 Stone Label collection, composed by perfumer Jacques Flori and named for a real gemstone embedded in the bottle’s faceted glass, a design language the whole Stone Label line shares. It’s a powdery, violet-and-iris floral at heart: carrot seed and carnation open into a soft iris-violet-rose core, before a smoky, cedar-and-incense base gives it weight. This is a refined, cosmetic-powder register rather than a sweet or fruity floral.
Scent Character
- Floral: 45%
- Woody: 32%
- Fresh: 18%
- Sweet: 5%
Translation: this is an iris-and-violet floral first and foremost (powdery, slightly cosmetic) grounded by a smoky cedar-and-incense base rather than sweetness.

FAQ
Does Irisss contain oud?
No. Despite coming from a maison known for oud-forward releases, Irisss is a true iris-violet floral with a smoky cedar-and-incense base; there’s no agarwood in the formula.
What is the Stone Label collection?
Xerjoff’s XJ 17/17 line, inspired by the semi-precious stones and minerals of London’s Natural History Museum. Each bottle carries a real embedded gemstone.
Who composed Irisss?
Perfumer Jacques Flori, in 2008.
Is this a beginner-friendly iris fragrance?
Not especially: it’s a dense, powdery, smoky iris rather than a light, modern one, so it suits people who already enjoy bold florals.
