It opens on a bright, slightly smoky burst of incense and pink pepper, then shifts into an unusual floral-marine heart (frangipani and geranium given an aquatic, lightly iodized lift by a true marine accord) before settling into a soft, resinous myrrh-suede-amber base. It's a more unexpected build than the other two entries in the trio: proud and resinous on paper, but with a breath of sea air running through the middle that keeps it from reading purely amber.
