Five 1mL samples:

• Spicebomb Eau de Toilette: the 2012 original by Olivier Polge. Pink pepper, elemi and grapefruit over cinnamon, saffron and paprika, with tobacco, leather and vetiver in the base.
• Spicebomb Extreme Eau de Parfum: deeper and sweeter. Black pepper and lavender over cinnamon and saffron, sinking into tobacco and bourbon vanilla.
• Spicebomb Infrared Eau de Toilette: red fruits, pink pepper and saffron over cinnamon and red pepper, finishing on tobacco and benzoin.
• Spicebomb Night Vision Eau de Toilette: the freshest of the five. Granny Smith apple, green mandarin and cardamom over pepper, sage and clove, on tonka, almond and woods.
• Spicebomb Dark Leather Eau de Parfum: nutmeg and black pepper, then cinnamon and frankincense, drying down to black leather and tobacco.

How To Use a Discovery Set

Wear one fragrance per day on bare skin, one or two sprays on the wrist or neck, and leave it alone for a few hours. The opening is only the first chapter; the drydown is what you live with. Note which ones you keep sniffing, then compare your two favorites side by side before choosing a full bottle.

Go from light to dark: Night Vision and the original first, Infrared next, then Extreme and Dark Leather. The last two are the richest and read best on cool evenings.

Each 1mL sample comes in a 2mL vial filled halfway, so the vial will look half full. That is the right amount, and it gives you several wears of each fragrance.
