Description

Amaretto In The Melting Room is a sweet almond liqueur poured over warm bread, with candle wax and tobacco waiting underneath. Composed by David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi as the first piece in Toskovat's Betrayal Collection, it opens on orange peel, peach stone and sacramental bread, moves into amaretto, sugar-syrup foam, labdanum and candle wax, and settles on vanilla powder, passionflower, tonka, tobacco absolute and honeycomb. The house tells it as a story of hospitality repaid with indifference, and the scent follows that arc: welcoming and sugary at first, then waxier, darker and more bitter as it dries down.

Scent Character

Translation: sweet and woody in equal measure, with the amaretto, honeycomb and vanilla on one side and the tonka and tobacco-dry base on the other. The smoky share is the tobacco and labdanum, and the fresh share is the orange peel in the opening.
