Description

Azure Lime is a cold glass of lime water on a hot deck: bright, green and very realistic. Created by Antoine Lie and Ellen Molner for Tom Ford's Private Blend in 2010, it was inspired by the Caribbean island of Mustique. The opening is the reason people buy it: lime, lemon, bergamot and orange with mint, juniper berry and black basil. Underneath, a soft heart of jasmine, neroli, orange blossom, violet leaf and herbal buchu leads to sandalwood, oak, musk, patchouli, tonka and sea moss. Reviewers regularly single out the lime note as one of the most natural in perfumery, and just as regularly point out that it does not stay long.

Scent Character

Translation: mostly fresh citrus and herbs, carried on a light sandalwood-and-oak frame, with a floral heart in between. The sweet share and the small amber touch from patchouli and tonka only show up late, as a soft skin finish.
