Shadid means “intense” in Arabic, and Andy Tauer built this 2025 extrait to earn the name. It's a limited edition of just 235 bottles, composed after a drive through the desert between Los Angeles and Las Vegas: wide sky, warm silence, the memory of distant lands. Castoreum and coriander open with a sharp, animalic edge that unfurls into a radiant nagarmotha heart before settling into a warm, resinous base of sandalwood, ambergris, cedarwood and vanilla. Fragrantica reviewers describe it moving between “dark and bright”, leather and spice fused into smoky woods and musk.
