Description

Pine by Stora Skuggan is a minimalist woody-aromatic Eau de Parfum for men and women, created by perfumer Tomas Hempel and released in 2024. It is a soliflore built around a single idea: the whole pine tree, from fresh spruce shoots and sweet, sacred-smelling sap to dry bark and needles on an earthy forest floor. As the house puts it, it smells like pine.

Fragrance Pyramid

Pine is a single-note soliflore, so it has no separate top, heart and base. The one note, pine, is shown through its different facets from start to finish: fresh green shoots, balsamic resin and dry wood.

Performance

Independent longevity and sillage data is limited for this recent release. Resinous conifer accords are usually clear and fairly linear, so expect moderate projection and several hours of wear on skin.
