Description

Intuition opens with saffron, cardamom and ginger, then sinks into a warm base of Cambodian oud, castoreum, benzoin and vanilla. Spirit of Kings names each of its fragrances for a royal virtue, and this 2022 extrait by Christian Provenzano is its take on foresight. The spices and a green snap of cedar needles come first. Violet leaf, geranium, jasmine and Bulgarian rose give the heart a soft floral middle, and the drydown is the reason to own it: a smooth, slightly animalic oud softened by vanilla, amber and sandalwood, with vetiver and cypriol keeping it dry and earthy.
