Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli is crème brûlée with a burnt-sugar crust and a dark patchouli floor. Released in 2022 as number 64 in Kayali's numbered line, it was composed by Gabriela Chelariu as an Eau de Parfum Intense. Rum, vanilla orchid and jasmine open it, the heart is vanilla, crème brûlée, tonka, spice, rose and a touch of leather, and the base is patchouli, brown sugar, sugar, amber, musk and agarwood. Reviewers describe it as patchouli dipped in sugar and caramelised: very sweet, but the patchouli and oud stop it from turning into pure dessert.

Scent Character

Translation: sweetness dominates, from vanilla, brown sugar and crème brûlée. Jasmine and rose add a floral lift, and the woody share, real agarwood included, gives the sugar something dark to sit on.
