Description

Sticky Fingers is a rock-chic patchouli: tobacco, leather and powdery iris, worn loose. Francesca Bianchi took its name from the 1971 Rolling Stones album whose cover she passed every day at a record shop near her studio, and released it in 2020. Coriander and cinnamon open it, patchouli, iris butter, sandalwood and heliotrope form the heart, and musk, castoreum, leather, tobacco and tonka make the base. The house calls it wild yet carefree and sensual rather than sweet, and wearers agree it is dark and warm without being a gourmand.

Fragrance Pyramid

  • Top: Coriander, Cinnamon
  • Heart: Iris Butter, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Heliotrope
  • Base: Musk, Castoreum, Leather, Tobacco, Tonka Bean

Performance

Longevity: Long. It is a 25% extrait and the house quotes around 12 hours on skin.
Sillage: Moderate to strong in the first hours.
Projection: A few feet early on, then it settles close.

An honest note: the castoreum and leather give it a slightly animalic edge. That is by design.
