Perseus Triumphant is a saffron-leather-oud extrait, spiced and heroic with a rose at its heart. Argos released it in 2025, inspired by John Singer Sargent's paintings of Perseus, the hero who defeated Medusa. Bergamot, saffron and cardamom give it a vivid, spicy opening. The heart pairs rose with leather, one soft and one tough. The base is Atlas cedar, musk and smoky oud, a dark, polished dry down. It wears unisex and sits in the familiar saffron-rose-oud family, with the leather pushed forward.

Scent Character

Translation: oud and spice in equal measure, from oud, saffron and cardamom, with cedar giving the woody frame. Rose adds a floral line, bergamot a fresh lift, and the sweetness stays low.
