Parfums De Marly Pegasus EDP
Description
Pegasus takes its name from the winged horse of Greek myth, a fitting emblem for Parfums de Marly's equestrian world, evoking power and grace rather than a real bloodline. Composed by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani and launched in 2011, this eau de parfum opens with heliotrope, cumin, and bergamot, moves into a marzipan-like heart of bitter almond, jasmine, and lavender, and settles into a warm, sandalwood-vanilla-amber base: a striking, dignified twist on the classic fougère.

FAQ
Is this the same as Pegasus Exclusif?
No. Pegasus Exclusif is a separate, richer flanker released later; this is the original 2011 Pegasus.
What does Pegasus smell like?
A sweet, marzipan-like almond and vanilla over a warm sandalwood-amber base, with a soft heliotrope-bergamot opening.
Is Pegasus a gourmand fragrance?
It leans sweet with the bitter almond and vanilla, but the fougère structure (lavender, cumin) keeps it from feeling like a dessert scent.
