Description

R pairs strawberry and rhubarb with a dark, resinous base of incense, leather and oud: fruit on the surface, cathedral underneath. Released in 2021 and composed by Arturetto Landi, it is Pantheon Roma's tribute to the Renaissance painter Raphael, and the first letter of the house's R, O, M, A series. Cinnamon, thyme, strawberry and rhubarb open it, iris, jasmine and saffron form the heart, and the base is deep and balsamic: vanilla, tolu and gurjun balsams, frankincense, labdanum, myrrh, ambergris, sandalwood, oud, musk and leather.

Scent Character

Translation: resins, incense, leather and real oud make up the largest share, and sandalwood and vanilla balance them evenly. The spice is cinnamon and saffron; the fresh touch is the rhubarb and thyme.
