Description

Bijou Zafran is saffron worn as jewellery: a warm, leathery spice scent where pear sweetness meets cypriol smoke and benzoin resin. Created by Élodie Bernard for Ormonde Jayne's Four Corners Reimagined collection and released in 2026, it opens with saffron and ripe pear, a combination that reads both bright and expensive. The heart is smoky and powdery, with cypriol bringing an earthy, almost oud-like roughness against soft iris and warm benzoin. The base turns darker: patchouli, leather, vanilla bean and amber, laced with mineral notes and musk. Ormonde Jayne describes it as red gold glowing against the skin, and the finished scent does have that quality, warm and slightly dangerous without raising its voice.
