Nasomatto Blamage Extrait
Description
Blamage is Alessandro Gualtieri's celebrated "happy accident": an unclassifiable, avant-garde composition of smoky birch and pale white woods wrapped around supple leather and warm musk. Launched in 2014, it opens on a mineralic, almost metallic accord that some find harsh at first, before settling quickly into an airy, rounded woody-leather drydown. It's one of Nasomatto's more abstract, art-piece releases, deliberately unresolved rather than conventionally pretty.
Scent Character
- Woody: 63%
- Smoky & Leather: 25% (birch-tar smokiness, not agarwood. There's no oud in the formula)
- Sweet: 12%
Translation: a dry, smoky birch-and-white-woods core wrapped in soft leather, with just a trace of musky sweetness underneath, deliberately abstract rather than warm or gourmand.
