Baraonda is Nasomatto's boozy, rose-flecked take on a woody musk, named for the Italian word for "commotion" or "revelry." Created by Alessandro Gualtieri and launched in 2016, it opens with a sharp, whiskey-like grain-alcohol accord that quickly softens into a musky rose heart, before settling into a warm, ambroxan-laced woody base. Now Smell This's 2017 review called it a scent that "balances warmth and depth", a fitting summary of its boozy-floral-musk trajectory.
