Intense Café is as much a rose fragrance as a coffee one: dark roasted coffee and rose over creamy vanilla. Released in 2013 by the Paris house Montale and credited to Pierre Montale, it opens on a floral accord and quickly reveals its heart, rose and coffee side by side. Vanilla, amber and white musk make the drydown soft and creamy. Reviewers are often surprised at how floral it is, given the name.
