Mizensir Sweet Praline EDP

Description

Sweet Praline is a pink, fluffy gourmand: sparkling raspberry and jasmine over a warm, caramel-like benzoin. Composed by Alberto Morillas for Mizensir, his own Geneva house, it was released in 2015. There is no literal praline in the formula; the effect comes from benzoin, whose balsamic sweetness reads as lightly caramelized sugar. A raspberry accord and airy hedione open it, Chinese sambac jasmine and a thread of incense form the heart, and ambroxan and papyrus give the base a clean, woody glow. It is gourmand but subtle, fruity-floral rather than heavy dessert.

Scent Character

Translation: sweet first, floral second: raspberry and benzoin against sambac jasmine. The smoky share is a light touch of incense, not oud, and ambroxan and papyrus supply the woody finish.
