Perfect Oud Extrait is Mizensir's oud taken further: smokier, sharper and more abstract. Released in 2024 as a stronger take on the house's Perfect Oud, it was composed by Alberto Morillas for Mizensir, the Geneva house he founded. He chose deliberately technical materials here: rose oxide in place of a classic rose, and a pyrogenic incense for smoke. Bergamot and cardamom open it clean and bright. Cedar essence and rum absolute give the heart a warm, slightly boozy lift, and oud, incense and vanilla settle underneath, warm but never soft. It suits someone who likes oud that feels modern rather than traditional.
