Memo Paris Red Island EDP
Description
Red Island is Memo Paris's newest Escale, a 2025 tribute to Madagascar from perfumer Aliénor Massenet built around roasted coffee and bourbon vanilla. It opens on longoza, Madagascar's wild ginger-lily, and cinnamon before settling into a warm coffee-sandalwood heart, framed by the traveler's tree on its own flacon. It's one of the most overtly gourmand scents in Memo's current lineup.
Scent Character
Red Island's fragrance record doesn't carry a numeric accord breakdown, so here's the honest qualitative read: it's a Warm Spicy Gourmand, roasted coffee and Sulawesi patchouli against a bourbon vanilla-tonka base. No oud and no strong florals; the coffee note is the signature here.

FAQ
Is Red Island a men's or women's fragrance?
Unisex, part of Memo's 2025 Escales collection.
How long does it last?
Generally 6–9 hours; performance is a bit more skin-chemistry-dependent than some of Memo's other Escales.
Is there real oud in it?
No. Red Island is built around coffee and vanilla, with no oud or agarwood in the formula.
How does it compare to Memo's other coffee/gourmand scents?
Red Island leads with roasted coffee and longoza rather than sweetness alone, giving it a slightly more bitter, aromatic edge than a pure gourmand vanilla.
