Perfumer Aliénor Massenet set out to reinvent the rose in a lighter way, pairing it with a rosy peony accord so it feels airy, and adding apricot kernel oil for a juicy note. The house stages it like a night at the Odéon theatre in Paris: three knocks of pink pepper, rose and peony as the leading ladies, a patchouli interlude and a final act of soft white musk. Early reviews on the house site call it a light, warm floral that is not too sweet.
