Description

Café Mystique treats coffee as smoke and memory rather than a latte. Part of the first collection from the Thai house Maksim Perfume, released in 2024, it is built around Kopi Luwak, one of the world's rarest coffees, which the house turned into its own tincture. Bergamot and black pepper open it, and the coffee slowly surfaces from behind the spice as something smoky and bitter, like embers. Frangipani, ylang-ylang, cardamom and labdanum soften those cinders, and a base of vetiver, myrrh, frankincense, Madagascar vanilla, oud, Turkish coffee and beeswax leaves it dark, warm and gently sweet.

Longevity: Built to last. It is an extrait with a dense base of resins, vanilla and beeswax.
