Description

Vanillade is a creamy, floral vanilla with a patchouli shadow: almond and coconut blossom on top, vanilla at the core. Composed by Marie Duchêne for Maison Tahité, the vanilla-led line created with Officine Creative Profumi, it was released in 2020. Almond blossom, citrus and coconut blossom open it soft and a little nutty, vanilla flower and vanilla make the heart, and the base layers more vanilla with patchouli, benzoin and musk. The patchouli and benzoin are what give it depth, so it reads warm and enveloping rather than candy-sweet.

Scent Character

Translation: overwhelmingly sweet, as a vanilla study should be. The amber share is the patchouli and benzoin in the base, not oud, and the fresh share is the citrus in the opening.
