Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Silk Mood Extrait
Description
Oud Silk Mood Extrait de Parfum, launched in 2013, was one of Maison Francis Kurkdjian's earliest oud compositions, and remains one of its gentlest. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian pairs Bulgarian rose and bergamot with guaiac wood and a light touch of agarwood, creating an oud that reads soft and "silky" rather than smoky or medicinal.
It's a more approachable entry point into oud than most in the category, while still carrying the depth and complexity the Extrait concentration is known for.
Note: not to be confused with Oud Satin Mood, MFK's sweeter, rose-and-vanilla-forward oud, a different fragrance with a similar name.
