Lola's Lemonana is iced mint lemonade poured over an animalic base of real oud and sandalwood. Lemonana is the name of the Middle Eastern mint lemonade, and the scent opens much like one. It was composed by Mathew Schmuelian for Lost Tribe, the New York indie house known for working almost entirely with natural materials, and released in 2024. Citron, pink grapefruit, bergamot, lime and bitter orange make a bright, sour start, with ambergris and civet giving it an unusual depth even at the top. Spearmint, apple, blue lotus, rose and gardenia form a cool, green floral heart, and agarwood, sandalwood, natural musk and mint close it out. Citrus and mint up front, something far wilder underneath.

Performance

Longevity: Good. The citrus is fleeting, as it always is, but the oud and musk base lasts for hours.
Sillage: Moderate in the opening.
Projection: About arm's length early on, then a close, musky wood.

An honest note: the civet and oud give it an animalic edge that surprises people expecting a plain citrus. Natural citrus oils also fade fast, so the lemonade effect is strongest in the first hour.

Best Occasions & Season

Best in Spring and Summer and on warm early-Fall days. It suits daytime wear, vacations and relaxed evenings. Unisex. Skip it if animalic notes like civet are not for you.
