Floating captures the quiet pleasure of a day without plans. Created by Alissa Sullivan and Leslie Hendin for their Brooklyn-based house Liis, it opens on ripe peach and bergamot that feel bright and effervescent, then drifts into wild orchid before settling on crisp linen and sequoia wood. The effect is weightless — clean and warm without being sweet, woody without being heavy. Made with organic sugarcane alcohol and launched in 2022, it is one of the simpler compositions in the Liis range: a handful of notes doing exactly what they need to and nothing more.
