Description

Topaz opens on candied citrus soaked in rum and settles into a clean amber wood. Part of the Gem Collection from Kajal Perfumes Paris, it was composed by Vincent Ricord and launched in 2025. The house ties it to the topaz as a stone of friendship and loyalty. Black lemon, elderflower, rum oil and orange blossom open it, cassis, cedarwood, candied lemon and rose absolute form the heart, and grey amber, ambroxan, musk and cashmere wood make the base. One reviewer called it vibrant and mood-lifting.

Translation: a woody amber base carries most of it, the candied lemon and rum add sweetness, and citrus and rose keep it bright.
