Jeroboam Insulo Extrait

Description

Insulo is vanilla at extrait strength, lit from inside by jasmine and lifted by white musk. Composed by Vanina Muracciole for the Paris house Jeroboam and released in 2015, it is one of the house's original extraits, and its name is the Esperanto word for island. The structure is deliberately simple: a rich vanilla up top, jasmine in the heart and a clean white musk underneath. The jasmine keeps the vanilla from turning purely edible, and the musk gives it air, so it wears creamy and warm rather than heavy.

Scent Character

Translation: a sweet vanilla with a floral glow. The jasmine is the floral share, and the woody share is the musky, skin-like base.
