Description

Gritti Hysterica is a deliberately loud, honey-drenched extrait built on intensity and contrast. Created by Luca Gritti for Gritti Venezia (launched 2024), it opens with a distinctive honey-plum-pepper blast that some find challenging at first, before settling into a rich, velvety drydown of plum brandy, spice and bitter rosewood. It's meant to feel expressive and slightly chaotic, a burst of passion rather than something calm or minimal, and the sweetness is balanced with darker, more sensual elements so it never smells juvenile.
