Perfumer Luca Gritti composes the line, and this set gathers its softer, more feminine side: a spiced black-cherry extrait, a powdery melon cream, a lychee-and-caramel gourmand, a raspberry-and-coconut floral from the ballet-inspired Tutù line, and a golden osmanthus floral. It is an easy way to explore Gritti before committing to a full bottle, and a thoughtful gift.

What's Inside

Five 1mL samples:

• Duchessa Extrait: black cherry, bitter orange and saffron flower over jasmine, clove and cocoa, on iris, almond and brown sugar. The richest of the five.
• Chantilly Eau de Parfum: strawberry, melon and bergamot over apple, blackcurrant blossom and coconut, on musk and vanilla. Light and powdery.
• Gossip Night Eau de Parfum: lychee, mango blossom and heliotrope over white peach, cream and caramel, on vanilla, white musk and cashmeran.
• Tutù Blanc Eau de Parfum: coconut, apple, blackcurrant and grapefruit over heliotrope, jasmine and rose, on raspberry, vanilla, musk and amber.
• Adèle Eau de Parfum: osmanthus, jasmine and May rose over tuberose and narcissus, on ambergris and cedar. The most classic floral of the set.

How To Use a Discovery Set

Wear one fragrance per day on bare skin, one or two sprays on the wrist or neck, and leave it alone for a few hours. The opening is only the first chapter; the drydown is what you live with. Note which ones you keep going back to, then compare your two favorites side by side before choosing a full bottle.

Start light and build up: Chantilly and Tutù Blanc first, then Adèle and Gossip Night, and save Duchessa, the richest, for a cool evening.

Each 1mL sample comes in a 2mL vial filled halfway, so the vial will look half full. That is the right amount, and it gives you several wears of each fragrance.
