Silky Woods Elixir is the darker, denser reading of Goldfield & Banks' bestselling Silky Woods, a balsamic vanilla-oud extrait built around genuine Australian agarwood. Released in 2023 as the first flanker in the house's Botanical Series, it was composed by Olivier Cresp and Hamid Merati-Kashani. It opens on ripe fig and the spiced glow of saffron, moves into a powdery heart of orris root and smoky guaiac wood, then settles on vanilla, Peru and tolu balsams, cypriol and a double dose of oud, Firmenich's Oud Assafi alongside tropical Australian agarwood. Reviewers describe it as balmy, creamy and unusually smooth for an oud, with the fig keeping the sweetness from turning heavy.

Scent Character

Translation: the woods carry almost half of the character (guaiac, cypriol and clearwood) with vanilla and balsam sweetness next and a genuine oud fraction running through it. Orris and rose add a powdery softness, and saffron a light spice.
