Fugazzi Orange Crush EDP
Description
Orange Crush is Fugazzi's exercise in restraint, composed by Ibrahim Al Zoabi and released in 2022.
It is built on essentially three materials: orange, Iso E Super (a soft, transparent-wood note) and white amber. That is unusual. Most modern citrus fragrances stack a dozen supporting notes; this one deliberately does not, and the result is clean and modern rather than busy. Bergamot and blackcurrant sit behind the orange to keep the fruit from thinning out.
Scent Character
Fugazzi does not publish a breakdown for this one, and rather than estimate percentages we will describe it plainly: a bright, juicy orange over a soft transparent woodiness, with white amber giving it warmth underneath. The effect is fresh-warm rather than sharply citrus, and it grows warmer the longer it sits on skin.
Fragrance Notes
- Orange, supported by bergamot and blackcurrant
- Transparent Woods (Iso E Super)
- White Amber
Performance
Longevity: Good for a citrus, which is the notable part. The amber and Iso E Super base is what carries it long after a conventional cologne would have gone.
Sillage: Moderate and soft-edged. It warms rather than projects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Only three ingredients: is it simplistic?
Minimal is not the same as thin. The point is that each material is doing real work, and the absence of clutter is what gives it its clean, modern character.
What does Iso E Super smell like?
A soft, almost transparent cedar, velvety rather than sharp. Some people barely register it, which is part of why it works so well as a base.
Does it last like a normal citrus?
Better. Citrus usually disappears within a couple of hours; the amber base here keeps it going considerably longer.
