Description

Oud Tuareg is a rose-and-oud extrait with a desert brightness at the start. Released in 2024 by Fabbrica Della Musa and composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, who co-founded the house with Barbara Adelmann, it is dedicated to the Tuareg, the nomadic people of the Sahara. Green mandarin and ginger open it quickly, then Damask and Taif roses meet African myrrh with a touch of saffron, and the base settles into oud and creamy sandalwood. It is a classic rose-oud pairing, kept lighter at the top by the citrus and ginger.

Scent Character

Translation: spice and oud share the lead, with sandalwood, citrus and rose in supporting roles. It reads dark and resinous once the opening has passed.

Longevity: Long. It is an extrait built on oud, myrrh and sandalwood, so it lasts well into the evening on skin.

An honest note: one or two sprays is enough. The myrrh and oud build quickly in a closed room.
