Ephemeral Dyadic Liquid Skin EDP
Description
Liquid Skin is an Eau de Parfum from Ephemeral Dyadic, the Istanbul art-studio perfume project of artist Sinan Saul, built on the idea that a scent is ephemeral while the feeling it leaves behind is permanent. Launched in 2023, it opens with labdanum and nagarmotha (cypriol), ancient and resinous, cut by a spark of red cinnamon, then sinks into vetiver and dried tobacco. Dark, earthy and unisex, it is written for people who like their woods with some tension in them.
Scent Character
- Woody
- Earthy
- Warm Spicy
- Smoky & Boozy (dried tobacco)
Translation: Think dark, resinous wood and damp earth with a flash of cinnamon heat, finishing on smooth, dry tobacco. Moody rather than sweet.
Fragrance Pyramid
- Top: Cypriol (Nagarmotha), Labdanum
- Heart: Cinnamon
- Base: Vetiver, Tobacco
Performance
Reviewers generally describe both longevity and projection as above average. With resins, vetiver and tobacco doing the work in the base, it tends to hold on skin through an evening and linger on fabric. Heat and dry skin will change how far it carries, so treat this as a general range rather than a promise.
Best Occasions & Season
Best in fall and winter, when its resinous warmth has room to bloom. It suits night out and leisure wear, and works for any gender.
Concentration & Provenance
