Description

Camélia K is a lush white floral with a juicy, fruity opening and a warm tonka finish. Released in 2023 by Sonia Constant, the perfumer who founded Ella K in 2017. She built it around a wild red camellia found on her travels in Sapa, Vietnam, and the house describes it as an ode to temptation inspired by Wong Kar-wai's film In the Mood for Love. Blood orange, dragon fruit and ginger open it, a heart of camellia, Indian tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine and rose takes over, and tonka, vanilla, patchouli and vetiver warm the base. The result is sensual and floral without being heavy.

Scent Character

Translation: a floral heart set on a warm woody-sweet base of vetiver, patchouli and tonka, with ginger and blood orange adding a little spark. No oud: the warmer slice is patchouli.
