Description

Trajan is bottled sunshine with a backbone: bright citrus over herbs, saffron and cedar. Composed by Marco Genovese for Electimuss, the London house that names its fragrances after Roman emperors, and released in 2020. It opens on blood orange, mandarin, lemon and bergamot, moves through lavender, sage and a thread of saffron, and dries down on cedar, oakmoss and ambergris. The house calls it an uplifting blend of citrus, herbs and woods, and wearers treat it as a grab-and-go scent that works in almost any setting.

Translation: half of the character is citrus freshness, and the other half is cedar, a touch of saffron spice and a soft lavender note. Bright, clean and easy to wear.
