Pure Vienne is a clean spring garden: green ivy, lily of the valley and white musk, soft and close to the skin. It belongs to Eight & Bob's Fouquet Collection, and the house ties it to a 1936 story: perfumer Albert Fouquet met an Austrian woman, Annicke, at a winter gathering in Megève and made this scent to give her when they met again in Vienna. It opens on ivy leaves, mandarin and peony, blooms into jasmine, lily of the valley and cyclamen, and settles on driftwood and white musk. Fresh, floral and musky, it suits anyone who prefers understated elegance to a big trail.
